Welcome to The Arcana Game Kinkmeme!
Aug. 26th, 2018 09:35 pmthearcanagame_kinkmod This is a Kinkmeme/open community of creative works from The Arcana: A Mystic Romance. This is a fan project only, and none of us are affiliated with the game or its development team. Despite the name, prompts may range anywhere from G- to X-rated.

The rules are as follows:
- All comments, prompts and fills will be anon only. Do not sign in to post in the meme.
- You must be 18+ to read or participate in the meme, despite the minimum age of consent where you may live. Non-negotiable.
- Tags will be managed by mods via the pinboard as time goes by: tag all major content in your prompt title lines.
- Prompts must follow the subject line format, "Prompt: Character/Character, Brief Description". Example here.
- Fills likewise must start with: "Fill: 'Title If Any', Character/Character, Brief Description" with the fill in the summary box. Don't edit the OP's subject line otherwise.
- No bullying, hate, character/ship/OC-bashing in prompts or comments.
- Report any violations to the mods via Ask a Mod, we'll handle issues as they come up. Mods arethearcanagame_kinkmod and (Mod 2 TBA).
- Be Excellent to Each Other!

We'll be monitoring the kinkmeme as well, but if something seems not quite right, don't hesitate to bring it to our attentions and we'll get to it as soon as possible. Reminder: if a topic skirts a grey area, the mods will deliberate and our decision is final on if the prompt or fill stays or goes.

This brings us to an unfortunate subject, which is that this meme is not a free-for-all: a short list of subject matter is forbidden from posting. This includes:
The mods will be watchful, but if you notice any posts or fills that violate the guidelines, please alert someone via Ask a Mod! We appreciate your help in making this community awesome for a venn diagram of kinky and not-so-kinky writing for The Arcana fandom!
- All participants on the meme must be A.) anonymous and B.) 18 years or older. It doesn't matter if the minimum age of consent is younger where you are: know that you must be 18+ for this meme, and if you are not, it is Not Wise to Advertise. Per anonymity, do not log in to Dreamwidth to post prompts or fills on this meme.
- No hate speech, bullying, or attacks on community members. Anonymity is here to protect us and as a tool to have a good kinky time, not to excuse bad behavior. If people post prompts for a ship, concept or character you hate, you may not go into their comments and insult or harrass them. Likewise, if someone is doing this, it is not acceptable for the community to bash them back: report the violator to the mods via Ask a Mod, and we'll take action. No mob justice, only mod justice.
- TAG YOUR KINK. Some graphic adult content will be permitted on the meme, but prompts may range from G- to X-rated, and some folks, even those of age, may not be okay with viewing some content. Utilize the tags. Due to anonymity in posting, it will be difficult to edit a post once it is up: if you simply forgot to tag, copy/paste your original post into a new one and contact mods to delete the original. Likewise, if your prompt needs to be edited for any reason, such as a subject or a warning or additional info, please repost it in it’s entirety. Alert the mods to this edit via Ask a Mod and they'll delete the first post.
- Be Excellent to Each Other!
Formatting Guidelines to Keep the Meme Neat and Legible:
- Subject lines for Prompts should follow the format "Prompt: Character A/Character B, Brief Description", then give more details in the subject box for the prompt.
- Subject lines for Fills should follow the format "Fill: "Title, If Any", Character A/Character B, Brief Description" as space allows.
- Fills should be posted in comment boxes under the original Prompt post, but if a writer wishes to post the work on their personal blog or ao3, they can certainly post a link in a comment. This is the only exception to the anon-only rule.
- Multiple fills for prompts are great, but please only post one prompt in a comment. Simply comment again with a second prompt if you have more to add. If you are posting a fill that is longer (multiple chapters, ex.) please post those chapters/individual sections in individual comments.
- Links to fics that are similar to a prompt are welcome, as long as they're done in a cordial way. Instead of posting "this has already been filled", or "there's a fic like that already", post something like "Here's a similar link I found if you like!" or "Here's something to tide you over until your prompt gets filled!"
- If your prompt includes a specific OC to be included, limit the character details to gender and name (if either/or is desired) and a small number of character traits. Ex., “Prompt: Julian/Apollo (tall brunette cis male apprentice), Boot Worship, Bondage”.
- Comments on a prompt/post should be topical to that post and of a positive nature. Don't submit additional prompts that you've thought of in someone's comments: write and post your own separate prompt. This is also not a workshop, and lengthy criticism, constructive or otherwise, is not to be commented. If you want to get together and discuss or start a discord off-anon, that's great, but posters deserve fills under their prompts, not distractions. (Simpler comments like "Awesome!!!", "This was great, I loved XYZ Things, I'm dying!!!!!!" or merely "aw;ldjgnaslkdjbgalskdjgb!!!!!!!" are absolutely allowed.)
- We understand that there may be a prompt that you very much want filled, but please don't copy/paste the same prompt multiple times. Prompts along very similar lines as each other are fine, but if we get the same "JulianxOC Vanilla Ice Cream Food Kink" prompt five times a day, all but the original will be screened.
- There is no first-come/first-served rule. All prompts are always open for additional fills, as many people may post as many fills as they feel inspired to!
Some Extra Info:
- If your comment is deleted/screened/frozen and you honestly don't know why, please contact a mod via the Ask A Mod page.
- You can always utilize Ask a Mod to verify if something is within community guidelines or for other general questions, not just to report violations. Hit us up!
- If your prompt was inspired by something else (a fic you read once, a post on a blog such as NSFW Arcana Confessions, etc.) please link to that source! We like to give credit where due and share around more awesome kink!
- All ratings of prompts are acceptable here, both SFW and NSFW. If you want to post "Prompt: Apprentice/Nadia, Fake Dating Modern!AU", that's awesome. If "Prompt: Asra/Julian, Human Furniture/Face-sitting" is more your bag, bring it on! There's plenty of folks on here who would appreciate seeing both or either.

- Pedophilia, defined on this meme as sexual content/themes with any character under eighteen. No "MAPs" or pedophiles are welcome in this community.
- Racism as a major fetishized theme. Repeated reference to characters' skin tones or racial features in sexual, hyper-focused, or other degrading ways will get your post/fill screened.
- Incest, any.
- Bestiality, any non-humanoid animal characters.
- Unless it is specifically banned on the above list, your kink is likely okay. Mods will deliberate if posts are reported, but don't worry too much about your kink being too niche/gross/""weird"" to post: this is what the anon and anti-bashing rules are for.
